HOW IS IMPERIAL DIFFERENT?

At Imperial, we know that CrossFit is just one part of a healthy, fulfilling lifestyle. Other parts that are important that we work on with our members are nutrition, mental wellness, friendship & community. We start by creating a positive space that is welcoming to all and continue by sharing knowledge and fostering relationships. Our members often create lifelong friendships with each other and spend time with other members not only inside, but also outside of the gym. And we’ve found that nothing helps you get on track and stay on track with your lifelong fitness journey than spending time with like-minded individuals that have similar goals. WHAT IS CROSSFIT?

CrossFit is a precise combination of exercise and nutrition that has been proven to increase fitness and health for people of all ages and abilities. CrossFit is founded on the first scientifically rigorous definition of fitness: The program produces observable results that can be measured and replicated.


DO I NEED TO BE IN SHAPE TO GET STARTED?

No. CrossFit is the program that will get you in shape. No matter what your current fitness level is, you can start CrossFit. As you become fitter, workouts will become more challenging. Every workout is designed to help you succeed, improve fitness and move you toward your goals.


IS CROSSFIT FOR ME?

Yes. Everyone can do CrossFit regardless of age, injuries and current fitness level. The program can be modified for each athlete to help him or her become fitter and healthier. Grandparents and Olympians—and everyone in between—can perform modified versions of the same workout.


The magic is in the movements. Workouts are different every day and modified to help each athlete achieve his or her goals. CrossFit workouts can be adapted for people at any age and level of fitness.
